The Bests of Being Married

Marriage makes life a whole lot easier and more fun in many ways.  Here's how:

Tag Team!  Kyle and I are a perfect match; he hates to load the dishwasher and I hate to unload it.  And that, my friends, is teamwork.

No more sleeping alone!  This means that when Kyle makes me watch scary movies like this one and I wake up freaked out in the middle of the night because I think our monster hot water heater is actually a serial killer, he graciously searches our tiny apartment and assures me we are safe.  Just knowing he's there makes me feel so much safer.

Now I can cook for two!  I can cook and bake to my heart's content and there's always someone else to help me eat it all!  Call me old fashioned, but cooking a delicious meal just makes me feel like I've succeeded at womanhood.

No more first dates!  While Kyle and I were still dating he said to me, "just think, you could've just had your last first kiss."  He was right!

While we do have a lot in common, we also have many differences that make our relationship more interesting.  Kyle has taught me a lot about sports and has introduced me to 80s classic rock and many movies I'd never seen.  In turn, I've taught him the difference between a skirt and a dress, introduced him to female singer-songwriters, and was the first ever to pluck his eyebrows.  Could we be any more right for each other? I submit that we cannot.
