Before my mission, I don't remember ever hearing anything about these so-called "blogs." It sounded pretty lame, really, and I didn't want anything to do with it. I also didn't want to conform to texting, ipods, and watching tv on Sunday... Look at me now!
So, I felt inspired to start a blog last year. I'm pretty sure it was New Year's Eve and I was waiting for Kyle to pick me up so we could go celebrate. I couldn't figure out how to put anything on it so I gave up, leaving an empty blog skeleton with a lame name. Somehow, without any posts, pictures, or an interesting name, I managed to have one follower (thanks Ami).
Now that Kyle and I are married, I decided that it was time for us to join our cool friends in the world of blogging. I can't make any promises about how exciting our little blog will be, but for me, at least, I can celebrate the beginning of a new hobby. Kyle has football, now I have our little blog. Oh, I also bake stuff.
