A Baby Shower

One of my very best friends, Kristen is having a baby!  I helped throw her a baby shower Saturday that turned out to be quite a success, if I do say so myself.

On the menu was:

pumpkin bisque soup (amazing!)

spinach salad with dijon vinaigrette

breadsticks

cake balls

pumpkin spice cupcakes

sugar cookies

Traci made the soup and it was so good I'm wishing I had more of it right now!

Traci are you reading this?  I think I need that recipe :)

I asked Kristen to bring baby pictures of her and her husband, Michael.  It was so cute to see them as babies!  They're going to have a gorgeous baby girl, I have no doubts.

I used this printable for everyone to leave wishes for the baby.

I pretty much sucked at getting good pictures at the shower.  First, because I had a very needy baby in my arms most of the time.  Second, because my camera died a few minutes into the party :(  

 But I was able to capture some baby love between Avery and Hudson.

They are only a few weeks apart!

They were totally holding hands.
